Meet the Founder
Hey, I’m Jacob.
I’m the founder of New to Medical Device Sales and a former top performer Medical Sales Rep & Manager.
I didn’t come from a traditional sales background. I started as a personal trainer, broke into medical device sales with zero prior sales experience, and earned four job offers from top medical device companies before accepting a full line Territory Manager role at Medtronic.
I took over the lowest performing territory in the nation and grew it over 200 percent in under two years, finishing as a top 10 territory nationally.
From there, I took on the role of Regional Sales Manager for the Western United States at a MedTech company. In that position, I scaled the region to over 800,000 in revenue in 18 months and helped close one of the largest deals in the company’s history.
After years of building, leading, and scaling inside medical device companies, I shifted my focus toward helping others enter and grow within this industry.
Today, through New to Medical Device Sales, we’ve helped thousands of professionals including clinicians, career switchers, and high performers land roles with top companies across MedTech and build long term, high income careers.
