Her $100K Story Proves You Can Do It

Today I want to share a powerful and inspiring story, the journey of Cassandra Bragg, one of our newest members to break into a major medical device company with a well over six-figure offer. Her path wasn’t easy, clean, or simple. But it’s the perfect example of what faith, grit, and the right strategy can do.
Cassandra is a Christ follower, a wife of 22 years, a mom of four, an Army veteran, an avid roller skater, and someone who loves serving her community. Professionally, she spent over a decade as a diagnostic medical sonographer and vascular technologist. She’s the type of person who treats every patient like they’re her own family. She also volunteers at a pregnancy center, a place that once helped her when she was young and scared and now she pours into young women who feel the same way she once did.
Growing Up in Poverty and Breaking Cycles
Cassandra grew up in public housing between Philadelphia and a depressed steel town in western Pennsylvania. She was raised by a single parent and got pregnant at 16. She dropped out of high school but later earned her GED while raising her daughter. Teen pregnancy was a generational cycle in her family, and she decided she was going to be the one to break it. That decision pushed her toward the Army as a way out and a way up.
The Army Years
She scored high on her ASVAB and picked a job most didn’t expect — mechanic — because she refused to be limited by stereotypes. Her first duty station was in Korea, and her time in the military gave her the discipline and confidence that would shape her career. Later, as she and her husband built a family in Texas, she stepped back into healthcare, starting as a medical assistant and then entering a rigorous sonography program. Her work ethic earned her job offers before she even graduated.
Her First Break Into Med Device
Working in a vein clinic opened the door to her first medical device role as a clinical specialist. She later spent three years at another company, won two President’s Club awards, and even became a full-line rep. But the pandemic hit, layoffs happened, and then a startup role she took later collapsed within six months. By the time she came to me, she had real experience — but also real frustration, real discouragement, and a confidence that had taken some hits.
What We Worked On Together
Cassandra didn’t need basic coaching — she needed structure, clarity, and a mental reset. She was coming in with bitterness from past companies, a constant need to prove herself, and the weight of navigating an industry where not many people look like her. We worked on replacing pressure with preparation, replacing proving with confidence, and replacing control with trust. She also had to learn how to stop oversharing, stop forcing outcomes, and start showing up as the calm, strong leader she actually is.
The Breakthrough
Dallas is one of the toughest markets in the country — full-line reps from other states relocate there just to compete for associate roles — yet Cassandra consistently got interviews because she applied the exact strategy we teach. She went through 21 interview processes before landing the one that mattered. She showed up prepared, confident, and aligned. She addressed her experience gap head-on, handled objections like a pro, and finally broke into one of the biggest medical device companies in the world with a strong six-figure offer and a role that fits her mission and background perfectly.
Final Thoughts
Cassandra’s story shows that your starting point doesn’t define your future — whether you’re a single mom, a veteran, someone who’s been laid off, or someone who feels overlooked, you can still break into this industry if you stay focused, stay prepared, keep your faith strong, and refuse to quit before the breakthrough.
